S’intéresse particulièrement à l’écologie des communautés animales terrestres et aux stratégies de reproduction des animaux. Mène présentement des travaux sur l’impact des changements climatiques sur la faune aviaire et la dynamique trophique de la toundra arctique, et étudie la migration et la reproduction chez les oiseaux de l’Arctique (oies, canards et limicoles).
