Loubna Benabbou est professeure à l’Unité départementale des sciences de gestion à l’Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR). Elle est titulaire d’un M.B.A et d’un Ph.D en apprentissage automatique et en sciences de décision de l’Université Laval et d’un diplôme d’ingénieure en génie industriel de l’Ecole Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs.

Ses intérêts de recherche s’inscrivent dans le cadre général de développement et l’application des méthodes de l’apprentissage automatique issues de l’intelligence artificielle et des sciences de décisions pour aider à la prise de décision.

Elle s’intéresse à l’application de ces méthodes dans les domaines de : la gestion des chaînes d’approvisionnement, la digitalisation des processus industriels, et la mitigation des risques des changements climatiques. 

Elle a participé dans plusieurs projets de recherche avec l’industrie et siège dans des comités scientifiques/techniques de revues et conférences internationales. Par ailleurs, elle a publié plusieurs articles dans des revues scientifiques internationales et des actes conférences internationales indexées.
